- Science and Technology and the Future of Privacy. Charles Weiss is Distinguished
Professor and Chair of Science, Technology and International Affairs at the
Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Thursday

The dinner is sold out as well. There will be NO drop-ins available. We look
forward to seeing all who have signed up on Friday for a wonderful day on the

HEART TO HEART SOCIAL, THURS., NOV 3RD - The Flood Mansion plays host to Heart to Heart (H2H) 2005, a one-night social raising awareness for the community outreach program starting at 6:30 p.m.. Complimentary valet parking is provided. The Extension school will be open to children whose parents are attending the Social. Dinner and crafts will be provided for children; upstairs, adults will enjoy fine food catered by Project Open Hand, live music, presentations and displays of the H2H Program. H2H: Thanks to the families who sponsored our first Heart to Heart
(H2H) Friday Night! We had fun decorating pumpkins and playing basketball. Our
next H2H Friday night is Nov. 18--join us from 5:30-8:00 at Stuart Hall High
School.
This Saturday, Oct. 29, the H2H Program will be co-hosting
Halloween activities at the Farmer’s Market at corner of Fillmore and
O’Farrell Streets. There will be arts and crafts, candy, pumpkin decorating
and a costume contest. For more information on all Heart to Heart activities,

Monica Devereux and Chris Columbus cordially invite you to attend a Special Screening of the film RENT on Sunday, November 20. We are pleased to be partnering with Project Open Hand on this event! Chris Columbus directed and produced the film. Based on Puccini’s classic opera La Boheme, Jonathan Larson’s revolutionary rock opera RENT tells the story of a group of bohemians struggling to live and pay their rent in the gritty background of New York’s East Village. Screening will be held at the Galaxy Theater (showtime 5:00 p.m.) with post screening party at the Regency Center. Invitations will be mailed shortly. This film is rated PG-13. It is NOT appropriate for children under 13. Parental discretion is advised for children of any age. You may purchase tickets online at www.sacredsf.org/rent. Questions: 345-5801.

form now available.
Order your holiday greens and flowers from the comfort of your home. The order
form may be downloaded and mailed or faxed to 415/931-0201. Orders will
be ready for pick up at the Holiday Greens Boutique on December 1 and 2. Orders
will be taken through November 18. A special invitation to the Holiday Greens
Boutique will be mailed shortly.
